Methods & References

The Methods & References tab is the in-app record of how every result is computed: each analytical method, numeric guideline, and default, with its equations, live data tables, and source citations. Report panels deep-link into it, so a figure in a report can be traced to the method that produced it.

Layout

A two-pane browser:

  • Left — a search box (methods, data, citations) and a list grouped by category: Frequency Analysis & Distribution Fitting, IDF / DDF Curves, Data Quality & Diagnostics, Outlier Detection, and Design Storms. Typing filters and ranks the list.
  • Right — the selected entry's detail: summary, equations, live data tables, and citations (with DOIs or a lookup link where a method has an external source). Citation links open in your browser.

Notes

  • An entry marked has no documented external source yet and is shown with a warning rather than presented as authoritative.
  • Numeric constants and tables are rendered live from the same values the code computes with, so the documentation can't silently drift from the computation.
  • This tab is the authoritative, always-current source. The Methods overview on this site is a condensed mirror of it.
